On this page I list some of the workshops that are publicly accessible. During research and industry projects we also prepare specific workshops related to my fields of interest but they are not publicly available.

Apache Spark Workshop

In 2020 I was invited to prepare a workshop at the PRACE Autumn HPC school. I focused on Apache spark essentials, presented some hands-on examples and ran a distributed Apache Spark application on an HPC.

The workshop had more editions, as follows:

Spark Workshop for PRACE Autumn school 2020 - HPC and FAIR Big Data, September 17, 2020.
Spark Workshop for Data Science track at UL FRI, April 15, 2021.
Spark Workshop for PRACE Autumn school 2021 - HPC and FAIR Big Data, September 30, 2021.

I have also prepared a public source code repository and recorded the first edition. Others editions include some improvements - you can check Powerpoint presentations in the repository.

Internet of Things Summer School

Marko Janković and I have prepared and organized a summer school at our Faculty in July 2016. We used openHAB, Raspberry Pi and some sensors to create smart home automations. A short video with explanation is available on Youtube.

KNU Summer School 2015 - Database design

Prof. Marko Bajec and I prepared an intense course on databases that we taught during the Kyungpook National University in Daegu, June 2015. Course is available at our Lab's moodle and capstone project at Bitbucket.
